make sure to close the gate

Zoe and I went for a walk to the source of the Thames today. (A few miles from Cirencester)

The actual source is pretty uninspiring and there is no water in sight.(see extra) The stone marking the spot needs some attention too as the writing is pretty much illegible.

It is actually a mile away from the marked source before you actually see the Thames, beautiful clear water at this point too. Upstream of any water company pollution for sure! (See other extra)

At this point where the Thames actually appears there was a group of Druidy type people (sorry, don’t know how else to describe them) who were performing some sort of ceremony, in full song. All very intriguing.

Also on the walk was this gate in the middle of the field! We just had to make a point of going through it!
