Coffee Stop
Our morning coffee spot. It was a damp and chilly start with a cold northerly wind, so a hot pastie and drink felt justified by one member of our party. This spot has a view towards the Slipper Pond and yacht basin at Emsworth. It’s an interesting place to pause for a while as there’s usually wildlife or people pottering on boats to observe.
Later I went to the allotment and planted out some beetroot and chard seedlings. Hoping they survive the slugs, snails and birds.
Grateful:
- For a good long chat on the phone with my sister.
- To be given some lovely looking parsley plants by a fellow allotmenteer.
- To continue to have more energy.
