Journey.

At least I managed around four days in my own bed before the next work trip commenced. This one to Kenya for a week, for what should be an interesting meeting with a good group of colleagues.

Today was spent on a long slog to reach Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya, the rather exciting venue. After arriving in Nairobi, everyone had woefully underestimated how long it would take a bus to chug along the horrendous Nairobi-Mombasa road with all of its hazardous drivers and traffic jams. After nightfall we eventually made it to a lodge inside Amboseli and we had been treated to expansive views at sunset across the plains of this fascinating part of the world.
