Headless chicken...

Actually I think it is was a pigeon given the feathers lying around the scene of the crime. I'm not sure what fate befell this poor sod but I hope it was quick. 

I've never seen a fox round these parts and I'm not sure Rodney (local cat whose actual name is Marley) is all that interested in the birds, he seems keener on the mice. Maybe a bird of prey? Or one of the wedding guests was peckish on the way home last night.
