Marilyn’s Tulip Day
Back blip to last Monday
The main reason for going up north last weekend was to take my friend, as promised, up to see the skagit valley tulips.
We did and she absolutely loved the day.
After relishing the fantastic array of colors we had much at the Chuckanut manor renowned for its beautiful view and good seafood. This was all also a belated 93rd birthday trip and meal for Marilyn.
Over my years driving bus, Marilyn was the first to welcome me and she became my partner in crime all our years there. We did costumes together for Halloween and shared so many work and play experiences. She had me do black and whole family portraits of her three boys . She and her husband ( deceased) helped be there for our son many times as he was growing up.
She’s always been a rock for me .
