Breakfast with the Magpies
The sun is shining and although it is windy it is quite a nice day. Thanks for all your good wishes for Mr A recently, today he is having a much better day, although I am saying that very quietly and with all fingers and toes crossed.
This afternoon I will take Oliver to Addenbrookes hospital where I will drop him off at the main entrance and he will meet his mum in the Costa coffee shop, after devouring a gluten-free chocolate brownie and a Fanta no doubt. He is to see the consultant who looks after his dislocated and broken elbow and he is hoping that he can now do more sport. The consultant may check his little finger as well although strictly speaking he should see a different one for that.
Today's picture shows some of the members of our Magpie family eating breakfast; there are two adults and three young ones. We also have a Great Spotted Woodpecker family which visit the garden, consisting of two parents and two juveniles.
