Linnet

A sunny, warm but blustery day! And Mum and Dad got off ok on their coach holiday for the week to the Chester area!

And the sun made me get out for  a wander - went in search of a pink footed goose but didn't spot it!  But I did get to see this lovely Linnet - first time I've snapped one I think!

I also used the Merlin app which meant I could identify the birds who were hiding from me! Northern Wheater, Grasshopper Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Skylarks, Common Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat - it's so annoying to hear them though and not see them!!

And it's that time of year when you need 12 pairs of eyes as there's butterflies to see as well!
