Dangerous donuts!

They’re actually arepas - but we must have done something wrong - because not long after this they started exploding as we were deep frying them! Tom managed to turn the hob off (getting spattered in the process) and I grabbed Eden and we ran out the room. When we went back in there was batter and oil everywhere in the kitchen including the ceiling! A nice peaceful welcome home for Paul who came back from hospital today to Julia and Tom’s after his knee operation!
