Birthday wishes

Here is a picture of wishes made ahead of Tanabata, the Japanese Star Festival. It's my 22nd birthday today, and although they'll be no birthday-cake candles to blow out this year, I have plenty of wishes to nurture...watch this space!

A lovely day with Dad and Luke spent climbing a mountain near Mt. Fuji. Happiness, itchy knees, and noodles on the summit.
