Renfrew Ferry
The ferry crossing between Renfrew and Yoker across the River Clyde started in 1868. This sepia postcard dates from 1930s shows the 4th ferry to operate the crossing. Yoker power station can be seen on the north bank.
An opening bridge is to replace the ferry it will be a little downriver though still from Renfrew to Yoker and will carry vehicles and passengers.
