I was supposed to meet my friend Karen at Ikea on 11 March but because mum was in hospital we postponed until today.

I’d had a bad night but I thought breakfast with a friend would be a good pick me up – and it was.
 
I then sorted out a gardener for dad who has been making himself ill cutting his grass.
 
Kassie got a new toy from Ikea – she’s not sure if she likes it yet!
