I believe...

I believe this might be a Hairy Footed Flower Bee.. cute!  It was tiny and very busy visiting my Camassia in the fleeting sunshine. It has been windy and not so inviting outside today... heavy grey clouds dominate the sky threatening rain every 20 minutes or so but the 5 minutes I took to sit in the sun this afternoon were very treasured (before leaden skies returned) and the temperature plummeted.
Not much doing today except an unwelcome text telling me that the Dr appointment (made a month ago) I had for Wednesday has had to be postponed.. when I rang to make a new one it wont be until 23 May.. that will be two months wait.. here's hoping the results of my bloods have been looked at and there is nothing much to report and therefore no urgency to see me.
