From deep snow to spring sunshine

A quiet morning, walked into Wengen for bread and groceries then had a good breakfast. Pippa did some work on her thesis and Bert and I some reading.
An exploratory walk through Wengen (see extra), followed by lunch.
In the afternoon we took the scenic train to Kleine Scheidegg and were greeted with lots of snow and wind gusts. We did hang around long and started our hike back down to Wengen. We started in deep snow and ended in lovely spring sunshine. In the main photo you can see the famous Eiger north face, the Mönch peak and the train to the Jungfrau Joch.
