Arkle

The magnificent mountain of Arkle rising up over the Lewisian basement rock to the west and acting as a quartzite pillar holding up the advance of the Moine thrust. Well… it looks like that on the map. We just have a lovely view down Loch More today.

If we can get some decent weather that doesn’t blow us off the top, we may manage to get a blip from the summit.
