Isle of Skye.

Over the sea to Skye. Our boat was brought forward in terms of timetable, no big inconvenience for us, or the wee family. Calmac were endeavouring to address the backlog after two days off due to storms. They ran an extra service before ours and did an evening run - excellent. It was a bit rough in the Sea of the Hebrides, sea state reflected the gales. We spent last part of the passage out doors - very fine.

The wee family joined us late afternoon and we went to Elgol. It was our grandson’s first visit - it won’t be his last. They stayed with us overnight.
