Minnetonka Drive In

Busy day. This is the only shot I took today. The Minnetonka Drive In has been, as they say on their Facebook page, Rockin' Around the Clock since 1961. A Watertown family opened it as an A&W originally. The same family still owns it. Across the street is busy Lake Minnetonka and a bike trail runs behind it. This is a great destination by bike. Every Thursday evening is a classic car show.

You don't see many Drive-In restaurants around, but this family has been smart with their Money and kept it going. After researching this a bit, I am anxious to go back some evening and take a proper shot, and maybe have a root beer! And maybe rude people won't park their big vehicles in the center of my shot!
