Florence the return visit

Angela and I took the train to Florence today. I wanted to walk up to Michelangelo Square. A place Simon loved with spectacular views over Florence. It was a steep climb in the hot sun. It has been another really hot day. We had a lovely lunch then a quick walk round the Iris garden then down the hill and back to the station. A delicious gelato on the way. 20000 steps, a record for me and over 9 miles! No wonder we are exhausted again.
