Playing Poohsticks?

At last, sunshine and warmth. Much lamented and missed. There’s much to pack in between now and Saturday morning, we made a good start and still had time for a walk.

Susan very helpfully potted on my tomatoes while I apprehensively went to the allotment, the first time of 3 or 4 weeks. Beetroot and broadbeans have germinated and the spuds are up. No sign of parsnips. Sowed more beans, beetroot and parsnip.

Marestails growing through the cardboard and mulch, as expected. Much easier to pull out of the beds than previously. While the beds look pretty good the rest of the plot needs much work which will have to wait until the end of May.

Took the strimmer to cut grass and edges. Forgot battery.
