PUSHED IT!!

I definitely pushed it today…..
Did an online meeting for work.
Took Rev to Bromley.
Forget phone and had to go back home!!!!!
Tried to do a 5k walk (for me) got 3k then Mum called to say they were nearly back….aarrgghh…panic…missed a bus…walked so fast…then caught the next bus.

Got to Mum’s just in time….she arrived with a hit squad(2 nurses and 2 physios) …she’d barely sat down before the physio had her up..in her bedroom (which she said…I hate this!!! Which was a bit upsetting) … in bed…out of bed…on a chair…in the bathroom….in the kitchen and back to her chair!!! That 4 left … we sat down for lunch and within minutes another lady arrived to assess her care package. She was actually really nice.
I’m so glad for Mum that she is back home.

After nearly 4 hours I left to check on the Rev only to discover I’d left her case in my car and had to go back up tonight.
The Rev has had a particularly bad day and is quite distressed by the afternoon effects of his surgery.
Up to Mums via Sainsbury’s then home to a rum and coke!!!!! AND BED zzzzzz
