Lily of the Valley

I saw it once in Switzerland ... growing in a valley.  Not a member of the Lily family (although it was once included,) Convallaria majalis is a member of Asparagaceae.  Easy to grow, especially in moist, shady places, it can become invasive.  

It should have been a day off but a call before half eight from work.  Two people off sick.  I ducked another long day but was able to fill in for two and a half hours at Kings Cafe at lunchtime.   Before and after was a mix of housework, short dog walks - on a cold, wet day - and more glazing at pottery.  I went several times for relatively short visits, adding one coat of glaze to each of several pieces on each visit.   

I popped in to Jamie's flat after dark to sort his kitchen and a few other little jobs.  He's away until Wednesday tea time.   Will be nice to see him and catch up on his news.
