Monday: The Garden City

Today was a public holiday so we’ve enjoyed a nice long weekend.

Despite the fact we haven’t done very much, we’ve quite enjoyed it.  We’ve had some good pool time, caught up on a few things, pottered around etc.

Today we went for a drive around town.  Here is one of the local murals.  I’m not entirely sure why Belmopan is called the Garden City.  It’s green enough with some nice plants but, beyond that, I wouldn’t call it garden-y.
