Shining Cranesbill (Geranium lucidum)
This pretty yet sprawling lover of both poor soils and borders, is a regular in our garden through spring. It adorns much of my wheel chair paths making it a regular choice for me to shoot.
Beyond the path and borders of course grow other wildflowers, alas my wheelchair cannot venture soft grass and I am also not able to handle a heavy zoom. I also prefer a 50mm.
Once this little flower has finished flowering, and before it can set seed, it is removed to allow other species to come through.
