Towards Skelwith Bridge

A drive into the Lakes to meet a friend JE for coffee.  We had planned to meet at Chesters, and, as I was a bit early, I walked alongside the beck towards the Langdales to see if there was a blip to be had (extra).

It was pretty dull but I did like the bright green of the leaves in the main photo.  After so much rain the beck was flowing very fast.

We had a good catch up over tea.  She still has teenage daughters living at home  and I am very glad I had boys!
