Close to home

There is a lot of visible forestry activity in Argyll at the moment but this bit took me by surprise this afternoon as I arrived home.

The sounds of harvesting on the hill behind my house have been getting louder each week and today the cutting came into sight .

This is by the gate at the top of the track to our house. The views from the house are already looking a bit different.
