Nemesia
Such a warm and sunny day to wake up to.
Towel wash done and hung out before l set off to ballet in Leeds.
Finished my book on the bus.
Loved the lesson except l wore a hole in the toe on one of my ballet shoes.
Bought a new pair in town on my way - found they have shot up in price :150% more than two years ago. I get a new pair every year and l remember thinking they had jumped in price last year but today’s increase was eye watering.
Will darn the old pair to have as spares.
On my way home l got a text from Ben my youngest grandson, he passed his driving test this morning with no faults, well done him.
When l got home Di called round with a couple of bottles of red wine, l had given my now not needed hover mower to her daughter and partner. Will take the wine away with me next week.
Garden is looking so lovely this afternoon, l’ve had to water the ranunculus and they have perked up again.
Spoiled for choice in what to blip but this little Nemesia won, it has overwintered really well and has gone quite bushy, it’s tiny flowers are gorgeous.
Have lots of tender plants thriving in the conservatory, dare not put them out yet, l’ve lost many a bedding plant in a sudden May frost.
Have ordered three linen shirts that should arrive today for a click and collect white, navy or Khaki, which one shall l choose?
