Renovate

Woke after a good sleep and saw A off to work then drove into Edinburgh to meet up with the homeswap people who’ve been staying in my flat. Nice to chat and compare notes about swapping experiences (I went to her place in London last November) and travel plans we’ve both got.
After they left to catch the train I went home and started the process of moving back in…doing many loads of laundry and getting all my papers etc out again. Spent the day doing funeral follow up, some executor work, and trying to tie down the next few weeks in my diary. A lot to get to grips with at the moment and I can’t yet quite get my head around what’s happening when.
Started another To Do list and one thing on it is getting the bridge table of my Mum’s renovated since it has a lot of sun damage to it. In contacting a few places in Edinburgh I needed a photo of the table and so this was the only photo I took today.
Thought about getting my bike out and definitely need to do it before I go away next week so I can start using it more. I ended up charging the battery and I’ll go tomorrow, but wanted to crack the paperwork today so despite the quite good bright weather I just stuck at it.
Felt a bit like I was in suspended animation today, a bit flat, but I guess that’s not surprising. At least I made some progress with things but there’s a lot still to do and some of the Australian elements aren’t straightforward to crack from the UK.
Spent the evening looking up things to do in Siena which is where I’m off to next….
