Soderbeg Cafe

Today we went to Edinburgh to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland .
The exhibition was excellent.
We went to the Soderberg Café by the Meadows for brunch.
This is café culture Scottish style. Everyone is wearing a jacket. We were lucky to get the last indoor table and enjoy the sunshine there.

I am almost at the end of the 10 week photography course I’m doing with the Open University. This week is week 8 and the topic is smartphone photography. One task is a list of photographs to take with a phone.This evening I was very pleased to see that the first two topics were ‘a small group of people’ and ‘the exterior of a building’ so today’s blip ticks both of those boxes.

The course has taken up a a lot of time so I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with everyone's journals. There is an end of module assessment involving choosing 10 photos to submit by 22nd May so I may be posting some as extras soon to get some feedback from all my Blip photographer friends. The criteria so far are as clear as mud.
