Even more epic

If yesterday’s Kilimanjaro view wasn’t epic enough, today we got herds of elephants moving in front of it. The birdlife at Amboseli is stunning and there is lots of wildlife. However it’s the elephants of Amboseli that are the main draw and they were numerous this morning. Some absolutely huge beasts which southern Kenya and northern Tanzania are particularly known for. Those of forty or fifty years old who have survived various poaching crises are as resilient as they are majestic.
