Loo with a View

I joined a group of other retirees for a tour of part of central Salford today. 100 Embankment, the new Greengate Park, Greenhaus and Eden, and lunch at a place on Chapel Street.
The best views were from one of the penthouses at the top of the 50 storey Courtlands tower. A monthly rental of £8000 is way beyond what I or most others could afford - it’s corporate or premier league footballer territory. You do get a startling view whilst sitting on the loo however.
The view - in the foreground Manchester cathedral and Victoria Station, with Exchange Square behind. Beyond Manchester City’s ground and east Manchester and Tameside, framed by the Pennines. Views in all other directions are available.
