Miserable Day

We have had rain with a cloud inversion all day.  It is very miserable.  I did a top up shop this morning, had a nice chat to 3 walkers, who were also doing supermarket shopping.  Home for lunch, then I drove to the lake, it was drizzling, but a lot of people were out walking.  The leaves are now half and half, which will be good for photography tomorrow.  You see the sun is going to shine (hard to believe!!).  I have had the fire going all day, so am snug and warm.  +9C.  The extra is (puddle reflection).

We have put out sugar water, so far have sighted wax eyes and Bellbirds.  No Tui's as yet.

Here we are 1st May.  The May forecast is for wet and cold conditions!!!
