Villa Anastasia

Welcome to Villa Anastasia, nestled on a hillside just below the stunningly beautiful and authenic Greek village of Glossa here on the Island of Skopelos.

Info about the villa and island to follow, heres a bit of info about this star trail.

Its a composite image of 33 seperate images stacked together using a programme called StarStax.

For anyone who wants to know the settings used, here they are...
iso 200
exposure 8minutes
f/4.5
WB tungsten
delay between images 4 seconds.

The prominent trails to the left of the image were made by Ursa Major, The Plough.
there's a slight gap a little way down the trail, that was caused by me standing on the remote control of the intervalometer i was using when a lizard ran over my leg................i.m such a girls blouse..............
The only other problem with the image is that i was supposed to take a dark image which when stacked with the other images is supposed to negate some of the noise in the image, i fell asleep..........well it was after 4 in the morning,

All in all i.m happy with my first star trail image and will be trying more shortly.............
