Yes, hoist by his own petard. Poor old Humza. Shot in his own foot. Whatever way you look at it, the architect of his own downfall. The call has already gone out for fresh leadership that can unite the party and thence, the country.  And apparently it’s …. John Swinney. Ahem. (Though I suspect many are saying this because they know he’d only be an interim leader and the boy Flynn could be manoeuvred into position tout de suite).
Much later we trotted over to help a new couple master the high tech mast hoist. Rather than do anything physical I thought I’d be best employed just giving advice. If only Humza had asked.
