May 1st is the first day of spring with birdsong and flowers and butterflies and fairies and whatnot...

Extra: Nice calm evening, no wind. They have just arrived at the nest. I have seen both of them. As of now, there are no eggs yet. It is my recollection that there were two eggs at this time a year ago.
