Arkle ridge

A simply stunning day for a long walk. The long quartzite ridge of Arkle has been beckoning for days, so today we got the bikes out to get us the first 4km before the long haul up the whole length. Arkle has several peaks - of course, the highest is the last one involving a high level walk right around its superb corrie. Part of it is this spectacularly broken quartzite ridge involving a lovely bit of scrambly stuff. Sun and haze made for a warm if slightly breezy day.
