curtains

Please explain the logic - some years ago another lady and I made these to fit hospital type screens to use as room dividers at church. They are no longer needed but two charities cannot take them because they have been used in the "public domain"
Therefore, how do charity shops sell clothes, curtains and bedding all second hand?! If I was so inclined I would make bags from this strong cotton material
