A numbers game

Delighted to report that all 12 ducklings survived the night.  They are getting braver and braver and oh so cute.  

Although the garden is pretty safe, I notice that the female duck often looks skyward for airborne predators.  I'm assuming that such a large brood means that usually they all won't survive.  If I was working from home there is little chance I'd get any work done...
