I'm increasingly finding that my favourite films are those for which I'm at a loss to explain why I enjoyed them so much. I suspect they touch me at a level that's deeper than words can articulate and perhaps it should be left there. Or it could just be that I'm a sucker for the quirky. If I tried to describe the minimal narrative it would likely only put you off. There are films, like this one was for me, best watched sight unseen. It perhaps says something that the services of Jeremy Allen White were procured for a brilliant cameo. What a coup that was, and what an experience for the young newcomer playing the leading role.
