Latrigg Lamb

We had 3 attempts to leave the house, including one return to pick up waterproofs. The skies were dark and heavy, the forecast was average.
By the time we had got 3 miles inland the sun was out and the world was different.
We drove over to Keswick for a walk up from Underscar onto Latrigg, I had ideas about getting a nice shot of all the hills over Derwentwater.  I took a few shots from the usual viewpoints up to the summit and then on a loop back down to the car a lamb popped up on the northern  horizon in the shadow of Skiddaw.
Keswick was quite relaxed for a change, so a nice lunch then Jess went shopping. I retreated to the Dog & Gun for a pint of Tirril IPA and watched the world go by in the sunshine.

Back in the darkroom and Jess said lamb wins and I had to agree...
