Spiky

Several years ago I bought some small cacti. Over the years they have, shall I say, subsisted. Despite my poor care they have gradually grown in size.

This year for the first time this one has begun to bloom with its delicate flowers protected by the spikes. I thought I had better capture them while the going was good.

Elsewhere, a meeting at church, a shop, a haircut and a relaxed afternoon visit from friends, followed by a snooze in the chair. Evening TV included the final episode of the current series of Professor T, a series we have enjoyed.
