CHASE PARK

The Wide Wednesday theme today is " Nature Scene " hosted by  BobsBlips.  I had in mind going Swalwell on the bus, having a wander beside the River Derwent to get a blip shot and then doing some shopping in Lidl.  However when I checked the bus app the next bus which was due in 17 mins wasn't showing as being tracked.  It was just showing the time as per the timetable.  So there was a good chance that it wouldn't turn up if it wasn't a tracked bus. ( I know this from past experience )  Next bus wasn't due for 37 mins. I didn't want to wait around for that one so I decided not to bother going to Swalwell.

I walked down to the village instead.  Dropped off a couple of bags of stuff at the Barnardos charity shop, did some shopping and collected 2 parcels.  Came home via the park as I still needed to find a blip shot. 

The park was looking lovely - lots of flowers and blossom around.  I took lots of photos and narrowed them down to two possibles for my nature blip.  I've put an alternative shot in my Extras.

Weather today was nice again - dry and warm-ish.
