Courgette
I went for a blood test this morning at 11.10 but had to wait over an hour because some poor lady had been taken ill in one of the nurses' rooms and an ambulance had to be called.
It was amazing how irritated and really downright nasty some people became and started complaining. They didn't seem to appreciate that something like that could happen to anybody and that the doctors and nurses were not just hanging around but were caught up in the care of that poor lady.
I was getting a little concerned because there is a deadline of 12.00 for blood tests because a van collects them at that time. However, the driver was plied with tea and biscuits and was then persuaded to wait a few minutes. In any case, I was ready to go home and come back another day if needed.
So this blip is one of the first courgette flowers of the season - there are 6 in total on my 2 courgette plants.
