May Day amble
Mr. Blackbird was up early this morning. 4:47 am for his first chirrup!
So after performing some gentle physiotherapy stretches and dynamic exercises, Logan and I headed out through the light mist at dawn.
An absolute abundance of Birdsong and wild flowers .The light mist and earthy smell of Spring was enchanting this morning.
I came across this beautiful tawny owlet on an old towpath. I could hear mother calling gently from above and so we continued peacefully past.
5 miles later the sun burst through the thin cloud and the gorgeous day appeared.
L came over and popped to the opticians to collect her new glasses (extra) whilst I got changed into my running gear.
We then headed out across the Commons stopping briefly to attend some pesky blisters.
An essential fika moment was enjoyed before a short walk home.
Administration and phone calls were dealt with in the afternoon, including the good news of Camper Van passing its MOT yippee!
Dress rehearsals for the May fair were enjoyed by auntie, myself and L’s complete family.
Grateful, for a beautiful spring day and wonderful company.
