Old Amsterdam

The view from my window in the lovely Soho House in Amsterdam.  It is in the very centre in Spuistraat and I was pleased to have a canal side room.  I haven’t been to Amsterdam for years and, once you’ve got used to dodging bikes it is so peaceful walking around here. 

Came up to London in the morning for a Final Mix on episode 4 - jumping ahead into John’s block.  Gaynor, our BBC commissioner joined us and it was all very good and satisfying.  So much so that. I was half way to Farringdon before I realised I’d left my suitcase at the post house.  Jeannine ran down with it as I doubled back and I still made it to London City airport in good time. 

Met up with Noemi at the airport and we travelling in together. Dinner at a nice Italian restaurant with Belinda and Alex all of which was great fun.
