Mushrooms

I headed out early to Lonacres garden centre as they do fabulous bouquets of flowers and I wanted one for my friends 50th tomorrow.  I was too early, as the flowers had only just arrived. I picked up Jackey on the way to Writtle and parked on the green. We were meeting other WI ladies to make three garden mushrooms from clay. It's one of those little places where you can pick a piece of Pottery to paint. There had been another trip to fo that a month ago, and she mentioned she could put on this class for us if there were enough takers.  It was great fun and very therapeutic.  We'll go back to glaze in a few weeks time once they've had there first firing. 
Back to Longacres and bought the most beautiful bouquet of peachy/pink colours. Gerbera's, lithianthus, stocks...it smelt and looked delicious...should have taken a photo!
Met Carrie for coffee and good catch up as always.
Filled out Fk's request for Absence form for the last week of term for the RIAT camp, which will also double up as his work experience. Fingers crossed.
