School Run Change

I bought a bike lock, big enough to encompass both bicycles, so the girls can ride their bikes to school. They have only recently been riding  without stabilisers, and they didn't use the stabilisers for more than a month or so, so we are very careful.
There is one busy road to cross so I make them dismount and push the bikes across the road, stopping at the centre island and checking for traffic coming the other way.
They love it, and get to school before I do of course! They stop at the gate and wait for me though but they are never out of sight. Access to this huge playing field is via a 'Kissing Gate' so that delays them for me to catch them up half way through the 12 minute walk.
