This is the first day
that has felt like spring - it's got
some warmth in the air

I was awake at 5:30 but not eager to leave my warm bed. By 6 the sun was seeping into my house and lighting up the walls of my bedroom. Then I got myself up and out the door. 

I was off to Vantage Point by the airport. All was very quiet and calm there. I walked west on the Rivers Trail and I looked back to the float plane dock, I took the lower path just below the trail to have a look at the river. Many trees have floated down the river, some creating 'river art' where they settle in the channel. 

As I was heading back to my car, a jogger going by me told me to watch for an otter in the river by the float plane dock. I'm sorry to say I couldn't find it. 

I have a mid-morning appointment, then I'm home for the day. It should be a quiet one.
