Busy Great Tit

I vacuumed the stairs this morning, giving it an extra hard clean in case I don't have time to do it thoroughly again before the decorators come back at the end of next week.

JJ has been busy putting back curtain rails after a thorough clean and is now hanging the curtains.

I forgot to do a wash this morning so have done it this afternoon.  I decided to add one of my Kipling bags and had a brainwave of putting it inside a pillowcase to stop it damaging the machine.  Failed.  It escaped.

I'm now keeping an eye on the weather as the washing's on the line.  We haven't had "the storm" as yet, but it's due.

The neighbours on one side of us have had the estate agent and photographer in today.  They are both in the early 80s and I think he's finding the garden difficult.  We do have a lot of debris from the lime trees and silver birch.  They've been good, quiet neighbours and I dread the thought of a large family being there, but it is a five bedroom family home. 

The birds are busy.
