Pots of colour

C has been talking about Geilston Garden for a number of years but we’ve never made it there until today. Run by the National Trust for Scotland, this gorgeous gem sits overlooking the Clyde just outside Helensburgh. A kitchen garden, woodland walks, the main walled garden and several bridges over the Geilston Burn gave us a very pleasant morning walk. Lots of colour from the woodland bluebells and the garden rhododendrons, but the most spectacular were the tulips.

After our walk we had a very pleasant lunch at Ardardan Estate tearoom.
