The social history of village life!

Today was another busy day and I picked up my camera for the first time this evening when going to post some letters, I do occasionally write letters  rather than email!  This scene taken in the centre of the village shows the beginnings of collecting bonfire wood for the eleventh July, it starts all over again!!  In the background is the old RIC barracks and in front of that our local chippy.

This site used to have two houses on it which were demolished some years ago to make space for the building of a doctor's surgery - which sadly never happened!
