The coffee thing

OK well it was either the coffee shop or my dinner!

Writing this late after a Writers' zoom meet and yet another long work-day. I seem to have got involved in a coffee thing in the office here, because the machine we have makes lukewarm drinks. So one of us nips out to the 'local' mid morning and 'buys a round'. It is extremely good coffee, and they do food and loaves too. It feels like an indulgence perhaps but then again I tell myself 'what are you working so hard for if you can't buy yourself a nice drink a few times a week?'

Sorry I've gone on a coffee ramble. I've got caffeine without the coffee tonight, too much adrenalin flowing!
